Feyenoord responded and were awarded a penalty in the 42nd minute after Hakan Çalhanoğlu committed a foul. Jakub Moder converted the spot-kick, leveling the score.
Shortly after the break, Inter regained their advantage. A foul inside the box led to a penalty, which Çalhanoğlu converted, making amends for his earlier mistake.
The victory sets up a challenging quarter-final clash for Inter against Bayern Munich, who advanced after a dominant 5-0 aggregate win over Bayer Leverkusen.
