Arsenal’s 17-year-old midfield sensation, Ethan Nwaneri, remains eligible to play for Nigeria’s Super Eagles after being overlooked by England new manager Thomas Tuchel.

Despite his exceptional form over the past two months, Nwaneri was surprisingly snubbed by Tuchel.
However, this development keeps the door open for Nwaneri to represent Nigeria, courtesy of his Nigerian father.
If the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) decides to pursue a nationality switch, Nwaneri could follow in the footsteps of Alex Iwobi, who chose to represent Nigeria while playing for Arsenal in 2015.
Although Super Eagles boss, Eric Chelle, has already announced his squad for the upcoming games against Rwanda and Zimbabwe, a future call-up could be on the cards for Nwaneri.
The Arsenal star has scored 7 goals and provided 4 assists for the Gunners, making him a star to watch.
