Defending champions, PSG have the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League in view after beating Liverpool in the first leg of their quarter-finals clash in Paris on Wednesday night.

PSG continued their onslaught on English teams in recent meetings and Liverpool were the latest casualties.

Arne Slot made a few changes to the side that lost 4-0 to Manchester City on Saturday but made no impact on the game.

The Reds had an abysmal night, failing to register a shot on target throughout the entire match.

Mohammed Salah was an unused substitute in the 2-0 defeat as the Liverpool legend continues to count his days at the club.

French winger, Desire Doue put the hosts ahead from a deflected shot from the edge of the box in the 11th minute.
