Boniface will soon join the list of highest earning African footballers with his potential move to join Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr imminent.
The 24-year-old is set to earn about €15 million per year which is more than twice his previous earning at Bayer Leverkusen.
The Super Eagles striker previously earned €3 million per year, then €6 million after his contract extension a few weeks ago.
Reports suggest that Bayer Leverkusen will receive about €60 million for the services of Victor Boniface.
The Bundesliga champions are set to rake in €40 million in profit two years after Boniface joined from Union Saint-Gilloise.
Boniface was instrumental to Bayer Leverkusen’s historic Bundesliga triumph as they emerge champions with an unbeaten record. The striker scored 14 goals and contributed 8 assists enroute to the historic run.
Victor Boniface has 29 goals and 10 assists in 49 matches for the defending champions in two seasons.
The arrival of Boniface will bolster the attacking line up of Al Nassr which already has Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane.
Boniface will replace Brazilian forward Anderson Talisca who is set to join Jose Mourinho at Fenerbahçe.
