Victor Osimhen’s “V09” mask has become a part of the striker’s match day outfit since his time at Napoli.
Osimhen started wearing the mask after recovering from a cheekbone injury he suffered in a Serie A match against Inter Milan in 2021.
The Super Eagles striker after four years wearing the mask says he’s already used to it as it has become a part of him.
“I have been playing with thale mask for about four years, I am used to it now.”
His response comes as a journalist asked him how he felt wearing the mask after Fenerbahce striker Edin Dzeko says he feels different with the mask on.
“I feel different when I wear the mask, I took the mask off and scored”
Osimhen with the mask on, leads the scorers’ chart of the Turkish Super League with 22 goals. The 26-year-old bagged his 22nd goal in Galatasaray’s 5-1 win over Eyupsor on Sunday.
