Victor Osimhen scored a brace as Turkish league leaders Galatasaray played out a 3-3 draw with Kasimpasa.
The draw extended their lead at the top of the standings to 7 points, with a game in hand over Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce.
Osimhen opened the scoring from the penalty spot after 12 minutes, but Kasimpasa scored a quick-fire double to start the second half, turning the game on its head.
Former Tottenham man Davidson Sanchez scored to level proceedings and Osimhen was on hand to fire in his second of the night thanks to a remarkable assist from goalkeeper Fernando Muslera.
Osimhen has now scored 22 goals in 26 appearances for the Turkish giants and his stock continues to rise, almost on a weekly basis.
He is also now just two goals behind Basakeshir’s Krystof Piaket in the race for the Golden Boot. The Nigerian has scored 16 league goals, just two goals behind Piatek.
