Head coach of the Moroccan female national team, Jorge Vilda, has issued a strong warning to the Super Falcons.
Nigeria and Morocco will clash in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) final on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

Morocco’s coach, Jorge Vilda, emphasized his team’s determination to make history by winning the trophy in front of their home fans.
The Super Falcons, aiming to set a world record for the most continental titles, secured their final spot with a 2-1 victory over South Africa, while Morocco advanced after defeating Ghana in a penalty shootout.
In a pre-match press conference, Vilda acknowledged the strength of Nigeria’s Super Falcons. “A team with a very high mid-level. It is a team that not only has physically strong players, but also different players on an individual level. They also have experience in other competitions,” he said.
However, he remained confident in his squad’s drive, stating,
“I say it again, it is a game and a final. We play at home. We play with our fans. Our players have a lot of desire and enthusiasm to make history. We are here to make history. They have it inside, and that is what we are going to try to do.”
