Bafana Bafana midfielder Mohau Nkota has warned that the Super Eagles will not be an easy opponent in their crucial 2026 World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.
The two rivals are set to face off at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein. Bafana Bafana currently leads Group C with 16 points, while the Super Eagles are in third with 10 points.

A victory would secure South Africa’s place at the World Cup, while a defeat could see Nigeria miss out for the second consecutive time.
The previous encounter between the two teams ended in a 1-1 draw in Uyo. Given the high stakes and the history of their rivalry, Nkota is anticipating another tough match.
“It is never easy against them because they are a talented team, and we will be ready on Tuesday,” Nkota told Sowetan Live.
He emphasized that teamwork would be key to his side’s success. “It is all about teamwork; if we work together as a team, we can succeed against them.”
Meanwhile, Eric Chelle’s Super Eagles will be keen to take all three points, as anything short of that would be considered a disaster.
