Super Falcons head coach Justine Madugu has vowed that his team will push for a victory against Algeria in their final group stage match at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The game is set for Sunday at Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca. Having secured a quarter-final spot with wins over Tunisia and Botswana, the nine-time champions need only a draw to finish top of Group B.

However, Madugu is determined to keep Nigeria’s unbeaten run alive and will deploy tactics to ensure a win.“Our commitment has been to take it one game at a time.
“We believe in our approach, and we will adopt the tactics, pattern, and approach that we believe can give us victory in each game. We respect all the teams but fear none,” Madugu told thenff.com.

The Super Falcons, though, will have to navigate that fixture without key midfielder Deborah Abiodun against Algeria, as she is suspended after receiving two yellow cards in the first two matches.
Nigeria will face either Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses or Zambia’s Copper Queens in the quarterfinals,
