With the Chrisantus Uche’s move subject to medical, Wolverhampton Wanderers are looking to add another Super Eagles player to their ranks before the end of the summer transfer window.
The Midlands club are reportedly interested in signing Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare from Genk as they prepare for the probable departure of Norwegian striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Wolves have rejected Newcastle United’s latest bid of £55m for the 25-year-old striker as they demand a higher fee.
However, Newcastle United are planning to send an improved offer of £60 million as they hope to get the deal over the line.

Should a deal for Jorgen Strand Larsen be reached, Wolverhampton Wanderers are preparing to approach Genk for Tolu Arokodare.
The 24-year-old striker has been linked with a move to the Premier League all summer and Wolverhampton Wanderers are the latest club to show interest in the striker.
Tolu Arokodare had a stellar performance in the Belgian Jupiler League last season as he emerged as the top scorer with 21 goals.
Arokodare also bagged the Ebony Shoe award being the best African player in the league last season.
Genk, according to reports will demand a fee in the region of €25 million from potential suitors interested in signing Arokodare whose contract expires in 2027.
Meanwhile Chrisantus Uche is set to have his medical at Wolves today in a deal worth €20 million from Getafe.
