Afrobeat singer Burna Boy has congratulated the Super Falcons for winning a record 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Burna Boy took to his official X page to express his delight at the monumental achievement of the team despite a shadow of doubt on the team en route to the competition.

The Afrobeat crooner says the Super Falcons inspire him, and he can’t wait to meet with them in a tweet he shared on his X page after the arrival of the team in Abuja on Monday.

Big love to the Super Falcons. 10x Champions and still making history! You all inspire me. Can’t wait to see you lot soon!

Nigeria won their 10th title in pulsating fashion as they came from a two-goal deficit to beat host Morocco, 3-2, in a thrilling final in Rabat on Saturday evening.

Justin Madugu’s side put up a spirited second-half display as they ended the Atlas Lionesses’ dream of winning their first-ever title.

Jennifer Echegini scored the winner in the 88th minute as she slotted the ball into the back of the net from Esther Okoronkwo’s sublime cross from a free kick into the box.
