Super Eagles defender Zaidu Sanusi has reaponded to rumours linking him to English Championship side Leeds United.
Reports suggest that Leeds United are offering FC Porto a bid of £1.67 million for the 27-year-old left-back.
However, Zaidu Sanusi has refuted those claims in a chat with AllNigerianSoccer,
“I am not in contact with Leeds United or any team right now.
“I am not negotiating with Leeds United and I have not been offered a four-year contract. They lied about it.”
Zaidu Sanusi is currently struggling for play time this season as he has been left out of Porto’s matchday squad severally this season.
The Super Eagles defender suffered a cruciate ligament tear and missed most part of the first half of the season
He has only featured six times for Porto’s first team this season as his future at the club appears to be in doubt with his current contract set to expire in 2027.
