Fulham’s head coach Marco Silva has reacted to his team’s 1-1 draw away at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday afternoon.
The Portuguese manager criticised the performance of his second half substitutes including Samuel Chukwueze for poor output.
Chukwueze came on in the second half but couldn’t help the Cottagers secure a win over the already-relegated side.
Silva admits that Fulham’s second half display is probably the worst in a long while as they tried to secure maximum points at the Molineaux.
Probably one of the worst second halves from us this season,” Silva was quoted as saying by Fulham’s official website. “For me, it is difficult to find a reason for that. We tried everything from the bench.”
“Apart from Kevin at halftime, we finished the game with Chukwueze, Harry Wilson, Raul, Josh King as well but the reality is the impact was not there at all.”
“Zero impact from the changes and it can happen in some moments of the game.”
Chukwueze’s last goal contribution came against Brighton and Hove Albion in January where he scored in the 2-1 home victory.
The 26-year-old winger joined Fulham on loan from AC Milan in January and has three goals a d four assista in 23 league matches.
