Super Falcons of Nigeria star Asisat Oshoala was on target as Gotham FC destroyed Bay FC 5-1 in an NWSL fixture on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
Even though Oshoala scored her eighth goal of the NWSL season, she could not help her side from suffering a heavy defeat.

Rose Lavelle scored a header at the back post to put Gotham FC back in front.
Gotham FC’s third and fourth goals came from Esther González while Cece Kizer added a fourth to wrap up the victory at the Red Bull Arena
Oshoala leads her team in goals scored with seven as Bay FC are still in the postseason race with three rounds of games left in the regular season.
