Nottingham Forest winger Callum Hudson-Odoi received a rather unusual birthday gift from his teammates, Ola Aina and Anthony Elanga. The duo, known for their playful antics, surprised Hudson-Odoi with a crate of eggs.
The ex-Chelsea man who turned 24 today, was surprised with this bizarre gift in a video posted on social media.
The reason for this unusual gift is not far-fetched. Hudson-Odoi is of Ghanaian descent, a country known for their high consumption of boiled eggs. Hudson-Odoi, ever the good sport, took the prank in stride, sharing a laugh with his teammates.
Forest have been in red hot form this season with both Aina and Hudson-Odoi playing a key part in the team. They both registered their names on the scoresheet in the dominant 3-0 drubbing of West Ham on Monday which placed Forest third on the Premier League table.
They will aim to continue this impressive run as they prepare to face Newcastle at home in the Premier League on Sunday.
