Gameweek 12 of the NPFL season ended with Remo Stars failing to take all three points at home as they were held to a goalless draw against their closest rivals, Rivers United.
Despite the draw, Remo remain at the top with 23 points from 12 games, holding a narrow one-point lead over Rivers United.
Third-placed Enyimba were also held to a 1-1 draw at Abia Warriors, having 20 points from 12 games.
Defending champions Enugu Rangers moved to fourth place securing a 3-2 home victory over Bendel Insurance, who are rooted to bottom place. Ikorodu City triumphed in the Southwest Derby, defeating Shooting Stars 2-1 after coming from behind. Sunshine Stars and Kwara United also claimed victories on home soil.
Meanwhile, Heartland maintained their impressive form by earning a 2-2 draw against Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano, after Pillars took the lead through goals by Rabiu Ali and Ahmed Musa.
