Super Eagles team B – the CHAN Eagles have started preparation for the return fixture of the African Nations Championship qualifier against Ghana in Uyo.
The CHAN Eagles arrived Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom state on Tuesday from Lagos after their arrival from Accra on Monday.
Coach Daniel Ogunmodede and Fidelis Ilechukwu conducted the first training session on Tuesday evening at the training pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
The session commenced at about 6 p.m local time and lasted for a period of time as the team look to get back in shape ahead of the second leg.
According to reports, five players joined camp to bolster the squad in various positions.
The Black Galaxies of Ghana held the CHAN Eagles to a goalless draw on Sunday in Accra in a well-contested match up between the rivals.
Godswill Akpabio International Stadium will host the second leg on Sunday as the CHAN Eagles look to secure qualification for the 2025 edition of the African Nations Championship after missing out on two previous editions.
