Following Arsenal’s emphatic 5-1 victory over Manchester City on Sunday, Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck linked up with midfielder Declan Rice, celebrating the team’s significant win.
Arsenal delivered a commanding performance at the Emirates Stadium, with goals from Martin Ødegaard, Thomas Partey, Kai Havertz, and two standout contributions from young talents Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri. Manchester City’s sole response came from Erling Haaland, but it was insufficient to challenge Arsenal’s dominance.
Odumodublvck, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s music scene, gained international attention with his hit song “Declan Rice,” released in March 2023.
After the decisive win against Manchester City, Odumodublvck was present at the Emirates Stadium and had the opportunity to meet with Declan Rice. The two were seen engaging in friendly conversation and Rice presented him with an Arsenal shirt with his number and the inscription ‘The Machine is Coming’.
Odumodublvck has been visiting various stadiums in England and linking up with players such as Ola Aina, Anthony Elanga and Taiwo Awoniyi. He has also been using these link-ups to promote his forthcoming album.
