Musona had stepped back from national duties in May 2022 but was persuaded by Nees to return for these crucial fixtures.

The Warriors are set to host Benin on March 21 at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, South Africa, due to stadium compliance issues in Zimbabwe.

Following this, they will travel to Uyo, Nigeria, to face the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on March 25.

Zimbabwe currently sits at the bottom of Group C with two points from four matches.
