Barcelona secured Bardghji from FC Copenhagen for around €2 million plus performance add-ons, along with a 15% sell-on clause in favor of Copenhagen.
At just 19, he’s already played 84 matches for Copenhagen, scoring 15 goals and registering one assist, helping win three Danish league titles and two cups.
Barcelona see him as a low-risk, high-upside investment for both now and the future.
2. Rehabilitation from major injury but returning strongly
Bardghji suffered an ACL knee injury in May 2024, sidelining him for nearly a year. After 334 days of recovery, he returned in March 2025 and appeared in six league games to complete the season.
His former coach confirms that he’s progressing well with no reported setbacks, emphasizing his speed, agility, and suitability for Hansi Flick’s high-tempo style.

3. Burst of promise in his Barcelona debut
Roony debuted for Barcelona on 27 July 2025, during the club’s pre-season friendly in Japan against Vissel Kobe. Entering in the second half alongside fellow debutants, he scored the winning goal in the 77th minute, assisted by Robert Lewandowski.
