The Premier League promises another exciting weekend, with plenty of subplots to look forward to.

Awoniyi Could Boost Dyche’s Plans at Forest

Taiwo Awoniyi was overlooked by Nuno Espírito Santo and Ange Postecoglou in the early weeks of the season,  until Ange started him in his last game against Chelsea.
Once valued at £50m, Awoniyi faded last season due to fitness issues, becoming a player Forest were willing to offload—though no offers materialized.
Awoniyi has now overtaken the summer signing Arnaud Kalimuendo in the pecking order and, if Sean Dyche can get the 28-year-old up to speed, he should be an asset

2. Fulham Feel the Pinch of a Quiet Summer

Fulham’s start to the season has been tough. Despite decent play, bad luck and refereeing decisions have hurt them, especially with injuries looming before their crucial home clash with Wolves.
Joachim Andersen, Harry Wilson, and Raúl Jiménez are questionable, while Samuel Chukwueze, Rodrigo Muniz, Antonee Robinson, and Emile Smith Rowe are out.
Marco Silva’s squad is thin. Sitting just above the relegation zone by three points, Fulham’s slow summer transfers and lack of depth could jeopardize Silva’s job by season’s end.

3. City Must Avoid Another Defeat

“We are still alive in the title race,” Pep Guardiola insisted after a 1-0 loss to Aston Villa. True, but for how long? With Arsenal on a roll, a six-point gap could end City’s hopes for a seventh title under Guardiola.
The Villa defeat marked their third loss in nine games, suggesting a 12-loss season if trends continue—far from title-worthy.
Despite 17 goals scored and seven conceded, Guardiola needs a strong showing against second-placed Bournemouth to prove his team’s rebuild.
