Two late strikes from Jeremy Doku and Nico Gonzalez helped Manchester City come from a goal down to seal a 2-1 win over Southampton in the FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley.
Nico Gonzalez powered a terrific screamer into the roof of the net two minutes before the 90 to give Pep Guardiola’s men another title shot.
Southampton came into the crunch tie on the back of a 20-game unbeaten streak across all competitions with 16 wins, three draws and a loss.
The Saints took a surprise lead 10 minutes from time as Azaz Finn bent the ball into the far corner from the edge of the box.
However, the lead lasted just two minutes as Jeremy Doku’s shot from the edge of the box deflected off a defender before landing in the net.
With two minutes to the end of regular time, Nico Gonzalez received a pass from Jeremy Doku and rifled a blazing shot into the top corner to seal the win for Manchester City.
Manchester City will take on either Chelsea or Leeds United for a chance to win their third FA Cup title in the Pep Guardiola era.
