Victor Osimhen has emerged as Nigeria’s highest-rated male footballer in EA Sports’ newly released EA FC 27 player ratings, despite suffering a two-point drop from his rating in the previous edition.
The Galatasaray striker has been rated 85 overall, down from 87 in EA FC 26. Atlético Madrid forward Ademola Lookman follows closely with an 83 rating, while Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina, Calvin Bassey, Nathan Tella, Raphael Onyedika and Samuel Chukwueze make up the next group.
According to the official EA Sports database, Nigeria’s highest-rated male players are:

Tolu Arokodare, Frank Onyeka, Wilfred Ndidi and Christantus Uche are among those rated 75 overall.
Osimhen’s overall rating may have fallen, but several of his key attributes remain among the best for Nigerian players. The striker has 89 pace, 84 shooting and 86 physicality, showing his status as Nigeria’s leading attacking option in the game.
Meanwhile, Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has also been rated 85, making her joint-highest-rated Nigerian player in EA FC 27 alongside Osimhen.
The ratings serve as the launch point for the new game, with EA expected to make adjustments throughout the season based on player form, performances and other live data.
EA FC 27 is scheduled for release on September 25, giving Nigerian players the opportunity to improve their ratings as the new campaign progresses.
The ratings show the strength of the current attacking options, while the 78–80 group provides a solid core across midfield, defence and the wings.
For the first time at the top of the Nigerian ratings, a Super Falcons player also sits level with the country’s highest-rated male star, with Nnadozie matching Osimhen’s 85 overall.
