Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has continued to make a positive impact off the pitch after visiting Plateau United Queens in Jos through the Rasheedat Ajibade Foundation, where she inspired young female footballers and engaged coaches on creating safer sporting environments.

The Nigerian international spent time with the players, sharing her journey from grassroots football to becoming captain of the Super Falcons and one of Africa’s most recognizable female footballers. Ajibade encouraged the young girls to remain committed to their dreams, embrace hard work, and believe in their ability to succeed regardless of the challenges they may encounter.

Her visit formed part of a broader initiative by the Rasheedat Ajibade Foundation aimed at empowering the next generation of athletes while promoting values that support healthy player development.

Beyond her interaction with the players, Ajibade also led a Coaches’ Sensitisation Session on Safeguarding, Anti-Discrimination, and Code of Conduct, bringing together coaches in Plateau State to discuss athlete welfare and the importance of creating inclusive football environments.

Speaking after the programme, Ajibade emphasized that football’s true value extends beyond results and performances on the field.

“I had the privilege of engaging with coaches in Jos, Plateau State, through the Rasheedat Ajibade Foundation’s Coaches’ Sensitisation Session on Safeguarding, Anti-Discrimination, and Code of Conduct.

“Football is more than the game we play on the pitch; it is about creating safe, respectful, and inclusive environments where every player can learn, grow, and thrive.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to share, learn, and contribute to conversations that will help shape a better future for our athletes and the sport we all love.” She concluded.
