Saudi Pro League side, Al Hilal have reached a deal in principle with Liverpool for the transfer of Uruguayan striker, Darwin Nunez.
Darwin Nunez has been linked to a move to Al Hilal for weeks after the the Saudi club showed keen interest in the 26-year-old former Benfica striker.
The deal is said to be in the region of €53 million with potential add-ons which could see a rise to about €60 million.
Al Hilal are now focused on reaching personal terms with Darwin Nunez before the completion of the deal.
Darwin Nunez arrived Liverpool from Benfica in 2023 for £85 million including add-ons which was the club’s then record transfer.
Nunez scored 40 goals in 143 matches and helped the Reds win the FA Community Shield in 2022 and the Premier League title last season.
