American tennis Star Amanda Anisimova stunned Women’s singles world number 1 Aryna Sabalenka to reach her first career Grand Slam.

Anisimova ended Sabalenka’s chance of attempting a shot at winning her first Wimbledon title with a convincing semi-final win at Center Court on Thursday afternoon.

The 23-year-old world number 12 came into the match having won five of their last eight meetings on different surfaces.

Amanda Anisimova won all her serves, broke Sabalenka in the last game to win the first set 6-4, which lasted close to an hour.

However, Sabalenka came strong in the second set as she broke Anisimova in the seventh game to take a 4-3 lead.
