French forward Antoine Griezmann will remain an Atletico Madrid player for the next two years.
Griezmann, on Monday, June 2nd signed a new two-year extension with the Madrid club which will see them remain at the club till 2027.
Also, Griezmann agreed to take a salary reduction in the last two years of his stay at the club.
His salary will be progressively reduced in 2026 and then 2027 – the final year of his contract.
Antoine Griezmann decided to stay with Atleti despite interest from MLS side Los Angeles Football Club.
The 2018 World Cup winner has been with Atletico Madrid for nine years in two separate stints.
