Arsenal are reportedly set to hijack Tottenham’s pursuit of Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, according to reports.
The Gunners have held talks with the 26-year-old’s representatives as Mikel Arteta aims to bolster his attacking options for the 2025-26 season.

With a focus on signing a No. 9 and a left-sided forward, Eze’s versatility makes him a prime target. His £68 million release clause is a more affordable option compared to Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, another winger Arsenal have been linked with, who could cost over £77 million.
Eze, who scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists in 43 appearances last season, is also on Tottenham’s radar, with their new boss Thomas Frank keen to sign him.
Arsenal’s swift move could give them an edge in this North London transfer battle, especially as Eze is reportedly open to the switch.
This potential signing aligns with Arteta’s vision to add creative flair and depth to challenge Liverpool and potentially Manchester City for the Premier League title
