Arsenal suffered an inexplicable collapse as Bournemouth came from a goal down to beat Mikel Arteta’s men 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners followed up their 1-0 defeat to PSG in the UEFA Champions League with another tepid performance and a second home defeat in a row.

Both sides had nice openings in the first half hour, but it was the in-form Declan Rice who made the breakthrough, expertly taking Ødegaard’s through ball in stride, rounding Kepa and coolly slotting home into an empty net.
Arteta’s side looked vulnerable at the back, though, and Evanilson’s long-range effort,t which went narrowly over the bar after David Raya was caught outside his goal, provided a timely reminder of the visitors’ threat.
