The Chief Executive Officer of Atalanta Luca Percassi is open to the return of Ademola Lookman to the team.
This comes after Atalanta started their UEFA Champions League campaign with a 4-0 to defending champions PSG in Paris.
However, Percassi says Lookman can only return to the team on one condition.
Ademola Lookman has been frozen out of Ivan Juric’s team since the start of the season after his failed move away from the club.
Lookman handed in a transfer request in the summer with a potential move to Inter Milan but the deal failed to materialize after Atalanta rejected the two bids from the Nerazurri.
In a latest development, Luca Percassi says the club will welcome back Ademola Lookman with open arms if he meets the condition of his return.
Percassi acknowledged the importance of Lookman to the team but insists he reigning African Footballer of the Year must prove he’s ready to play.
“We all know how good he is, but also that in order to play for Atalanta, you must be 100% focused.
“When he’s ready, we’ll be waiting for him with open arms.”
