In a commanding display at the Campo de Fútbol de Adeje, UD Tenerife secured a 5-1 triumph over Deportivo de La Coruña in the Primera División Femenina.
The match began with Deportivo taking an early lead in the 25th minute, as Henar Muiña scored following an assist from Ainhoa Marín. However, Tenerife responded decisively in the second half.
Nigerian forward Gift Monday equalized in the 51st minute and added a second goal in the 64th minute, assisted by Sandra Castelló. Rinsola Babajide made it three for the hosts in the 69th minute before Agata Zaremba and Sakina Ouzraoui sealed the comprehensive victory for the home side.
This win propels UD Granadilla Tenerife to 6th place in the league standings with 20 points, while Deportivo de La Coruña remains in 15th position with 9 points.
