Manchester United have a discouraging development to deal with ahead of their Europa League semi-final 1st leg clash against Athletic Bilbao.
The Red Devils travel to the Basque region to face Bilbao on Thursday as Ruben Amorim looks to salvage United’s poor season with the competition.
Manchester United received a boost ahead of the match with the injury to Spanish winger Nico Williams last week.
Williams was initially ruled out Manchester United’s visit alongside 25-year-old midfielder Oihan Sancet.
However, Nico Williams passed a late fitness test and has been declared available to face the 2017 Champions.
The 22-year-old winger has five goals and three assists in 12 appearances for Bilbao and will look to help Ernesto Valverde do damage to United’s leaky defense.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are the only unbeaten team in the three European competitions this season.
