Barcelona teenage superstar Lamine Yamal was at the top of his game to help the Blaugrana defeat Benfica 3-1 in the UCL Round of 16 second-leg clash.
Hansi Flick’s men went into Tuesday’s match with a one-goal advantage over the Portuguese top-flight club last week despite having Pau Cubarsi dismissed after 22 minutes.

Raphinha scored a brace, and Yamal added another.
Yamal was particularly instrumental, scoring and assisting in Tuesday’s 3-1 success.
The 17-year-old set up Raphinha for the opening goal after 11 minutes, only for Nicolas Otamendi to peg back Flick’s men two minutes later.

However, Raphinha turned provider for Yamal’s strike before the half-hour mark before adding a third three minutes before the interlude to secure Barcelona’s place in the quarters.
With his goal and assist in the second leg, Yamal became the youngest player (17 years, 241 days) to hit the target and turn provider in the competition’s history, a feat neither Lionel Messi nor Cristiano Ronaldo achieved in their teenage years.
