It would have been a delight to watch Jude Bellingham and Jobe Bellingham face off on the pitch when Real Madrid take on Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup.
The Bellingham brothers have been impressive at the tournament, as they helped their respective sides reach the quarterfinals of the competition.
Unfortunately, one of the brothers will not be available when Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund fight for a place on Saturday at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.
Jobe Bellingham will not be available for the clash after he received two consecutive yellow cards. The former Sunderland midfielder received a caution in the 1-0 win over Ulsan HD in the group stage.
Also, the midfielder received his second yellow card in the 2-1 win over Pachuca in the round of sixteen fixture on Tuesday evening.
Consequently, the reunion of the brothers won’t happen as yellow cards are only wiped off after the quarter-finals.
Jobe Bellingham received a caution in the 28th minute of the match after Serghou Guirassy put the Yellow Black 2-0 up courtesy of Kareem Adeyemi’s double assist.
