Barcelona have set their sights on Nigerian international Ademola Lookman as a key addition to their attack after missing out on Athletic Club’s star winger Nico Williams.
According to Spanish outlet Sport, Barcelona’s new manager, Hansi Flick, is a big fan of Lookman and has given his approval for the club to pursue the 27-year-old as they look to revamp their forward line this summer.

Atalanta, Lookman’s current club, are reportedly willing to let the winger go for around €50 million—a price Barcelona see as more manageable after stepping back from the race for Nico Williams, who recently signed a new contract with Athletic Club.
Lookman had an outstanding season with Atalanta, scoring 20 goals and delivering several assists in Serie A and the UEFA Champions League.

His highlight was a stunning hat-trick in the Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen, which caught the eye of several top European clubs.
Barcelona view Lookman as a versatile winger who can seamlessly fit into Flick’s tactical vision for the team.
