Barcelona’s injury woes continue as fresh reports claim Pedri picked up an injury during El Clásico.
The midfielder, who was sent off late in the game, already faces an automatic one-match ban, meaning he was unavailable for the upcoming weekend fixture against Elche.

Reports from RAC1 state that Pedri was seen training in the gym on Wednesday rather than with the main squad due to a muscular issue. Reporter Adria Albets claims Pedri was “physically exhausted” after the Clásico and is now expected to miss around “4-5 weeks.”
This lay-off means Pedri will miss the midweek Champions League match against Club Brugge and the La Liga fixture at Celta Vigo four days later.
With the international break coming next, he is not expected to be called up by Spain and will also miss the crucial UEFA Champions League clash against Chelsea.
This news is a major blow for Barcelona, given Pedri’s importance, confirming the club’s injury crisis is far from over.
