Bartholomeu Ogbeche scored five goals but the team couldn’t climb back to La Liga. He then moved to Real Valladolid in the top tier, making an impactful debut in a 1-0 win over Espanyol in August 2007, even if he only played 12 minutes.
In 2009, after limited play at Valladolid, he signed with Cádiz in Spain’s second division, emerging as their top scorer. Sadly, the team finished 19th and got relegated.

Ogbeche had successful spells in India over the next few years, playing for Kerala Blasters (where he became their all-time leading scorer until Dimitrios Diamantakos overtook him in 2023), Mumbai City, and Hyderabad.
