The Unity Cup 2025 will feature four national teams: Nigeria, Ghana, Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago.

Basey, who has been a mainstay for Fulham and the Super Eagles this season, was asked about his choices ahead of the tournament.
Bassey expressed a desire to settle in Ghana, coming as a surprise to Nigerian fans. He expressed a deep appreciation for the West African country, which he feels a connection to.
When it comes to food, Bassey revealed a fondness for Jamaican cuisine, particularly enjoying traditional dishes such as rice and peas with oxtail.
He also expressed his desire to visit Trinidad and Tobago and he chose Nigeria when asked the country he would like to marry from.
