Bayer Leverkusen are prepared to sell their Nigerian striker Victor Boniface for approximately €50 million this summer, according to German outlet BILD.
The former Bundesliga champions are open to negotiations for the 24-year-old, who joined from Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise in 2023.

Boniface made an immediate impact, contributing 21 goals and nine assists in 34 games, helping Leverkusen secure the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal titles in his debut season.
Despite his stellar 2023/24 campaign, injuries and competition from Patrik Schick have limited his starts this term, with eight Bundesliga goals. Leverkusen’s decision to retain Schick and sign young forward Christian Kofane signals their willingness to part with Boniface.
Premier League clubs, including Newcastle United, are reportedly interested, with the Magpies in advanced talks to bolster their attack alongside Alexander Isak.
Boniface’s physicality and technical prowess make him an attractive prospect, though his injury history may be a consideration for potential suitors.
