Bayern dominate Frankfurt as Leipzig stumble in top-four race

In today’s Bundesliga action, Bayern Munich delivered a commanding 4-0 victory over third-placed Eintracht Frankfurt at the Allianz Arena.

Michael Olise opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time, followed by goals from Hiroki Ito, Jamal Musiala, and substitute Serge Gnabry in the second half.

This win extends Bayern’s lead at the top of the table to eight points over Bayer Leverkusen. However, the match saw Joshua Kimmich and Jamal Musiala sustain injuries, though initial reports suggest they are not serious.

RB Leipzig faced a setback in their Champions League aspirations, drawing 2-2 at home against relegation-threatened FC Heidenheim.

Early goals from Heidenheim’s Mathias Honsak and Marvin Pieringer put Leipzig on the back foot, but they managed to equalize through efforts from Lois Openda and a Benjamin Sesko penalty.
