Nigerian striker, Victor Boniface is branching out from the pitch to launch his very own talk show, slated to premiere on July 11.
The new program, titled The Culture League, aims to bridge the worlds of sports, entertainment, and culture by bringing together some of Nigeria’s biggest stars for honest conversations. Boniface will host the series alongside Super Eagles teammates Wilfred Ndidi and Frank Onyeka.
Announcing the show on Instagram, the Bayer Leverkusen forward stated, “I’ve been cooking something special behind the scenes. A brand-new talk show called The Culture League, real convos, real vibes, and top Naija celebs pulling up.”
Each episode will feature popular figures from Nigeria’s music, film, fashion, and sports industries, providing a space for open, unscripted dialogue about their careers, passions, and outlooks.
Developed by Webek Studios in partnership with Kini Media Group, The Culture League aims to create a bold, relevant, and authentically African viewing experience for global audiences.
“The Culture League is more than just a talk show; it’s a reflection of our culture and our generation,” said Esse Akwawa, CEO of Webek Studios. “We wanted to build a space where footballers, artists, and creatives can speak freely, connect across industries, and inspire the next wave of Nigerian talent.”
The guest list for the upcoming series includes an eclectic mix of popular names such as Basketmouth, Bovi, Odumodublvck, Osas Ighodaro, Falz, and VJ Adams, who will share their personal stories and unique perspectives on life and culture.
