Two-time Ballon d’Or winner, Aitana Bonmatí has been crowned Player of the Tournament at UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 following Spain’s runner-up finish in Switzerland.

The 26-year-old FC Barcelona midfielder was recognised after Sunday’s final for her outstanding influence throughout the competition.

Bonmatí contributed one goal and one assist, including the decisive strike in Spain’s semi-final victory over Germany, helping La Roja reach their first-ever European Championship final. Spain’s campaign ended in heartbreak after a penalty shootout defeat to England in Basel.
