Manchester City have reportedly agreed a deal in principle to sign English midfielder, Elliot Anderson for £130m from Nottingham Forest.
According to multiple sources, the deal will be finalised in the United States of America where the player will also undergo a medical.
Elliot Anderson has also been granted permission by England to undergo a medical with the World Cup ongoing.
The 23-year-old midfielder is Manchester City’s prime target this summer and would become the most expensive signing in the history of the club.
Eliot Anderson has had a consistent run for Nottingham Forest over the last two seasons since he joined from his boyhood club Newcastle United.
Anderson signed for the Tricky Trees in the 2024/2025 season and has risen to become one of the best midfielders in the league.
The 23-year-old scored four goals and provided four assists in 38 matches for Nottingham Forest last season and helped the club reach the Europa League semi-finals last season.
