Super Eagles manager Eric Chelle has received an important update ahead of the crucial 2026 World Cup qualifiers with the return of Chidera Ejuke to full training.
The Sevilla winger has been injured for the past two weeks, as he missed Sevilla’s last three preseason friendlies against Marseille, Al Quadisiya, and Toulouse.
However, the 27-year-old Super Eagles winger returned to training on Wednesday as Sevilla prepares for the new La Liga season.

Ejuke’s return is a major boost for coach Eric Chelle as the Super Eagles prepare to take on Rwanda in Uyo and South Africa in Bloemfontein three days later.
Although Ejuke has yet to feature for the Super Eagles since Eric Chelle took the job in January, his last invitation dates back to October 2024.
Chidera Ejuke is known for his explosive pace and trickery down the flanks and will offer Eric Chelle dynamism in attack as the Super Eagles look to salvage their World Cup hopes.
Ejuke is expected to be in Sevilla’s matchday squad for when the Rojiblancos take a trip to San Mames to take on Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.
