Borussia Dortmund have finalized the transfer of 19-year-old English talent Jobe Bellingham from Premier League-promoted Sunderland.
The deal, reportedly worth £27.8 million and featuring a 15% sell‑on clause, marks Dortmund’s second-biggest signing in club history and places a hefty premium on one of England’s brightest young midfielders.
Jobe’s move follows the well-trodden path of his older brother, Jude, who made a name for himself at Dortmund before securing a record-breaking transfer to Real Madrid in 2023.
Since joining Sunderland in June 2023, Jobe has been a vital presence in midfield. Throughout the 2023–24 season, he made 90 appearances, scored 11 goals, and provided 4 assists, helping the club secure promotion back to the Premier League via the playoffs.
