Arsenal Football Club have announced the death of its former academy graduate Billy Vigar.

The North London club made the announcement on its social media pages on Thursday evening.

Despite being fast and powerful on the ball, injury to his hamstring staunted his rapid rise in his first season.

However, he made up for it in the second as he scored four goals in 18 matches for the under-18 side.
