Mykhailo Mudryk has been provisionally suspended from the Premier League after failing a doping test.

According to the Football Association, the Chelsea winger was contacted concerning an unusual finding in his routine urine test.

Chelsea in a statement confirmed that the club works with the FA  for the regular testing of its players including Mudryk.

It also says the club will work with relevant authorities to investigate the course of the adverse finding in the urine test of the player.

“Both the Club and Mykhailo fully support the FA’s testing programme and all our players, including Mykhailo, are regularly tested”.
