RS Berkane and Simba SC have booked their places in the CAF Confederation Cup final after navigating tense semi-final second legs.

Despite a 1-0 loss to CS Constantine, Berkane advanced comfortably on aggregate, while Simba held Stellenbosch FC to a goalless draw to secure a narrow 1-0 aggregate victory.

CS Constantine beat RS Berkane 1-0 in the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup semi-final, thanks to Abdennour Belhocini’s 47th-minute header.

Despite Constantine’s dominant performance and several missed chances, their heavy 4-0 first-leg loss meant Berkane advanced to the final on aggregate.

Berkane, managing injuries and sustained pressure, held firm with key saves from goalkeeper Munir Mohamedi.

In the other semi-final of the day, Simba SC secured their place in the final after a 0-0 draw against Stellenbosch FC at Moses Mabhida Stadium, advancing 1-0 on aggregate thanks to their first-leg win.

Stellenbosch pushed hard for a comeback but were denied by Simba’s solid defence and standout goalkeeper Moussa Camara. Stellenbosch had a goal ruled out by VAR for offside and missed several late chances.

Simba, coached by Fadlu Davids, executed a disciplined game plan to frustrate their hosts and held firm under pressure.

The two sides will now face off in the final, with Berkane hoping to win their third title while Simba will be aiming for their first continental title since 1993.
