Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly set to hold emergency talks with club president Florentino Perez to address the team’s recent struggles.
Despite gaining an advantage on the domestic front, thanks to Barcelona’s loss to Las Palmas, Madrid’s Champions League performance has been a major concern, with the reigning champions sitting 24th in the standings with just six points from five games.
According to MARCA, Ancelotti and Perez will meet before Sunday’s match against Getafe to discuss the team’s issues and find a solution.
The meeting will also involve an assessment of each other’s performance this season, with Perez expected to reaffirm his commitment to Ancelotti.
The pair will also discuss the issue of Kylian Mbappe who was been underwhelming since arriving from PSG in the summer.
