Champions League: Real Madrid complete double over City, PSG outclass Chelsea as Arsenal see off Leverkusen

Real Madrid, defending champions PSG, and Arsenal have joined Sporting Lisbon in qualifying for the last eight of the UEFA Champions League.

Fifteen-time champions, Real Madrid stopped City’s attempt at a remontada as they beat the hosts again for the second time in seven days.

Ryan Cherki’s attempt at goal to give Manchester City a dream start, came off the post in the third minute of action.

However, Bernardo Silva’s red card in the 20th minute put Pep Guardiola’s men in a difficult position already as they looked to overturn a 3-0 deficit from the first leg.

Vinicius Jr gave the visitors the lead from the penalty spot two minutes later to increase the aggregate scoreline.

However, Erling Haaland ended his seven-game goal drought as he bagged the equaliser a few minutes before the break.
